Those who are utilizing a press-brake and are performing 4 or 5 bends are not preserving the integrity of the armor plate steel. When using a press-brake to bend the armor plate steel it ""work hardens"" as a result it will actually harden your armor plate steel too much. This, as was mentioned before, is not good and can become brittle. PatriotMax Armor's armor plate steel is actually pressed in a precisely designed die-set. A die-set is the only way to achieve an actual true radius bend. Some utilize a roll-form machine that will make it appear radius like, but upon closer inspection it can be flat along the edges.
